Certain computer hardware and software components and peripherals
are offered in OEM version.
OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer. Simply speaking,
OEM is the same high quality product, but simply comes without
the fancy retail packaging. The items that may come in OEM
packing include video cards, sound cards, network card, modem
cards and memory. An OEM component typically comes in a static
bag packed with it's driver CD only. OEM products do not always
contain the optional software such as games that some times come
with Retail Box products.
OEM products are also the reason we can bring you some of the
lower prices that we offer. Any item that is not specifically
declared to be "Retail Boxed" or "Ret" version may at our
discretion be sold as OEM.
